The Aqua Theater Automation and Control department is responsible for making sure all stage effects of the Le Rêve show are performing correctly.

• Operate the automated show elements and systems during training, rehearsals, performances, special events.
• Perform automation cue tracks when needed and assisting with long-term inspections.
• Maintain schedules and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience working as an Automation Technician for a large-scale theatrical or concert production.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in flying effects with performers and theatrical rigging.
• Experience with a wide variety of modern theatrical automation and control systems as it pertains to installation, use and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of current automation systems, design, maintenance and repair.
• Ability to withstand exposure to chlorinated water, swim with a high level of comfort and the ability to become SCUBA certified.
• Must possess problem solving skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability, experience and comfort in working at high elevations in a theatrical environment.
• Ability to identify safety concerns and conform to safe working procedures.
• Knowledge of computer based systems and MS Office software.
• Must be able to work evenings weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Must be able to work around live birds, strobe lighting and smoke effects.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have OSHA 10 hour General Industry Safety and Health Card/Certification
