Job Description and Responsibilities:

Wynn Boston Harbor is a luxury global destination gaming resort that will feature 671 hotel rooms with sweeping views of the Boston skyline and Boston Harbor, ultra-premium spa, specialty retail, award-winning dining, and state-of-the-art ballroom and meeting spaces. At a total cost of $2.4 billion, it is the largest private single-phase development in the history of the Commonwealth. Situated on the waterfront along the Mystic River and connected to Boston Harbor, Wynn Boston Harbor will include a six-acre park along the water that will feature pedestrian and bicycle paths that provide access to the harbor, an events lawn, picnic and public viewing areas, ornate floral displays and retail and dining experiences that overlook the Wynn Harbor Walk.

Wynn Boston Harbor is currently under construction with resort opening anticipated June 2019. Once open, Wynn Boston Harbor will employ over 4,000 team members. We invite you to apply to be a member of the founding Wynn Boston Harbor team.

Wynn Design and Development (WDD) is responsible for creating the designs that are known as the “Wynn Brand”. WDD includes Architecture, Interior Design, Construction and Purchasing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the research and coordination of projects as assigned by the Director of Design
  • Reviews documents and specifications to ensure company standards are enforced and project specific program criteria is properly documented.
  • Coordinates the ID documents with all other project consultants to ensure continuity and accuracy of the design.
  • Assist Director with the RFI and submittal process for the Project.
  • Attends various types of Project meetings as assigned
  • Participates in Project value engineering efforts as required
  • May be required to create design sketches, details in order to resolve design problems
  • Prepares project specific forms/reports as requested by Management
  • Visits job site during construction to review and document progress against contract documents
  • Participates and documents Project punch list reviews
  • May be required to participate in FFE installations
  • Maintains Project spec books and drawings
  • Maintains Project Design files/bins
  • Assist Director with the printing and files of any Project related information

Job Requirements:

  • Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Project Management and at least 2-3 years’ experience in Hospitality Design
  • Ability to work in a Team environment or alone
  • Possess problem solving, as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Ability to work long hours and be flexible
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must have experience reviewing and understanding typical project documents, including Architectural, Interior Design, MEP, Fire Life Safety, and AV drawings.
