Job Responsibilities:

*The Cook I is responsible for preparing and finishing foods on all stations within the kitchen and meet quality standards.
*Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.

Job Requirements:

*Candidates must be able to communicate in English, read and follow recipes.
*Requires a minimum of 1 year work experience in a high volume kitchen.
*Candidates must exhibit sanitation knowledge, advanced culinary knowledge (incl. product knowledge, cooking methods, stocks, basic soups)
*Candidates must be able to display accurate knife skills.
*A culinary training degree is preferred, but not required. Requires the ability to work organized and within a team environment.
*Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.
