Job Description and Responsibilities:

Wynn Resorts is the recipient of more Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Awards than any other independent hotel company in the world. Wynn Las Vegas opened on April 28, 2005 and was once again named the best resort in Nevada on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 “Gold List,” a title received for the tenth time. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 4,750 spacious hotel rooms, suites and villas, approximately 192,000 square feet of casino space, 21 dining experiences featuring signature chefs and 11 bars, two award-winning spas, approximately 290,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 103,000 square feet of retail space as well as three nightclubs, a beach club and recreation and leisure facilities. In addition to two luxury retail esplanades, a Strip-front expansion, Wynn Plaza, is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2018.

Responsibilities :

The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the Wedding Salon.

• Creating and maintaining staff schedules to ensure proper coverage.
• Ensure and assist (if needed) that all guests are given the highest level of attention and service.
• Address and solve guest and staff questions or concerns.
• Controlling daily costs and ensuring proper stock is maintained.
• Training new employees and beyond.
• Overseeing events to ensure they begin on time, every request is met and the event is flawless.
• Creating and maintaining departmental reports for Manger’s review.
• Assist Manager with projects as needed.
• Assist with phones and sales when needed.
• Attend meetings in place of Manager when needed (ie: vacation or out of office).
• Monitor ACD calls and employee log in/out using CMS – oversee consistent coverage is maintained
• Run ACD log in and daily reports from previous day and research any lapse in service levels
• Coach and counsel employees when needed.
• Prepare and provide employee annual performance evaluations.
• Network with other managers and outside venues to establish future growth opportunities.
• Check Delphi to view daily events being hosted are posted correctly
• Approve and adjust payroll
• Review and confirm floral orders for team throughout the day
• Ensure (and assist as needed) that guests are provided the highest level of service at every point of contact – manage guest expectations to consistently exceed wherever possible
• Mentor team through positive feedback, set professional example at all times and require the team to always provide their very best service to every guest
• Complete weekly and monthly documents/reports including Tentative Delphi Report, DOR, DOR Breakdown, Weekly Schedules, Monthly Schedules, Booking Forecast, Minister Payments, Consultant Commission, Revenue Contribution, Commission YTD, Travel Agent Billing and Photo Contractor Billing
• Meet Photo Contractor to review weekly events, cross referencing times, packages, and upgrades
• Order and stock the weekly supplies
• Assist Manager with end of month financial review and reconciliation
• Ensure previous months files are sent to storage
• Update training manual as required
• Attend Call Center monthly meeting
• Oversee and order/stock retail étagère and back up stock

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Delphi, 60 wpm minimum, knowledge of general office equipment
• Experience in management and be capable of motivating staff and solving guests/staff concerns.
• High School Diploma
• Minimum 3-year’s experience in guest service, management and sales (combined).
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to obtain a valid Alcohol Awareness Card
