Job Title: Audio Technician (Steady-Extra) – Le Rêve-the Dream – Entertainment

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Wynn Resorts is the recipient of more Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Awards than any other independent hotel company in the world. Wynn Las Vegas opened on April 28, 2005 and was once again named the best resort in Nevada on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 “Gold List,” a title received for the tenth time. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 4,750 spacious hotel rooms, suites and villas, approximately 192,000 square feet of casino space, 21 dining experiences featuring signature chefs and 11 bars, two award-winning spas, approximately 290,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 103,000 square feet of retail space as well as three nightclubs, a beach club and recreation and leisure facilities. In addition to two luxury retail esplanades, a Strip-front expansion, Wynn Plaza, is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2018.

Responsibilities:

The Wynn Theater Audio Department is responsible for overseeing all audio activity, ensuring the care and maintenance of all audio systems in Le Rêve and for running show cues on a nightly basis.

• Perform functions and duties as assigned to the Audio team in establishing and maintaining the safe and consistent operations of all audio systems for rehearsals and performances.
• Maintain and troubleshoot audio, video, and communication systems and equipment while complying with OSHA regulations and Wynn Las Vegas safety procedures. Perform audio department cue tracks.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience working for a large-scale theatrical or concert productions.
• Experience with a wide variety of modern sound technology and audio control systems as it pertains to operation, installation, use, and troubleshooting. Equipment to include: Pro Tools, LCS, Meyer Systems, Media Matrix, Yamaha PM1D, BSS Soundweb, etc.
• Ability to master current and upcoming audio technology.
• Ability to withstand exposure to chlorinated water and swim with a high level of comfort.
• Ability to become CPR/First Responder trained.
• Willing to define, practice, and conform to safe working procedures.
• Ability, experience, and comfort in working at high elevations in a theatrical environment.
• Must possess problem solving skills and strong interpersonal skills with proven talents in safety and teamwork.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Mac and PC based systems and MS Office software.
• Knowledge of BeOs, Linux, Mac, and Unix preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in electronic repairs and experience with video.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able to work around live birds, strobe lighting and smoke effects.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have OSHA 10 hour General Industry Safety and Health Card/Certification
