Job Description and Responsibilities:

Wynn Boston Harbor is a luxury global destination gaming resort that will feature 671 hotel rooms with sweeping views of the Boston skyline and Boston Harbor, ultra-premium spa, specialty retail, award-winning dining, and state-of-the-art ballroom and meeting spaces. At a total cost of $2.4 billion, it is the largest private single-phase development in the history of the Commonwealth. Situated on the waterfront along the Mystic River and connected to Boston Harbor, Wynn Boston Harbor will include a six-acre park along the water that will feature pedestrian and bicycle paths that provide access to the harbor, an events lawn, picnic and public viewing areas, ornate floral displays and retail and dining experiences that overlook the Wynn Harbor Walk.

Wynn Boston Harbor is currently under construction with resort opening anticipated June 2019. Once open, Wynn Boston Harbor will employ over 4,000 team members. We invite you to apply to be a member of the founding Wynn Boston Harbor team.

The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing projects to ensure they remain within the agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality. Have the ability provide decision making authority across all technical and business process related issues. Ensure that contractual agreements with solution providers and vendors are managed to expectations. Identify, maintain and manage project budgets. Ensure best value for Company in respect to negotiations / contracting with both internal and external suppliers. Ensure funding arrangements are in place. Manage scope and settle trade-offs/compromises, if required, to meet project deadlines with Customer and solution providers. Identify team resources required in conjunction with all the Programs. Form the project team and maintain resource capability across the projects. Ensure IT, infrastructure, process and organization elements of a project are addressed and integrated. Point of escalation to resolve project issues and remove associated project delays.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

*Provide decision making authority across all technical and business process related issues
*Commit the Delivery Model in conjunction with the approved Project Management Methodology.
*Ensure that contractual agreements with solution providers and vendors are managed
*Identify, maintain and manage project budgets
*Manage project to ensure that the project remains within agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality
*Ensure best value for Company in respect to negotiations / contracting with both internal and external suppliers
*Ensure funding arrangements are in place
*Manage scope and settle trade-offs/compromises, if required, to meet project deadlines with Customer and solution providers
*Provide project reports through Program Office
*Identify team resources required in conjunction with all the Program Managers
*Form the project team
*Maintain resource capability across the project
*Ensure that IT, infrastructure, process and organization elements of a project are addressed and integrated
*Ensures all projects are managed against a project plan and viable schedule
*Maintain resource capability across projects
*Promptly resolve project issues and remove associated project delays

Job Requirements:

*Minimum of 3 years experience with hospitality and/or casino application background.
*College diploma or university degree in software engineering, computer science, or business
administration and/or 7 years equivalent work experience.
*Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Excellent coaching, listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
*Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
*Keen attention to detail.
*Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
*Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
*Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
*Sitting for extended periods of time.
*Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
*Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
