Wynn Las Vegas employs TIBCO products to deliver Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) throughout the Wynn Enterprise. The Middleware-Web Service Developer is a member of the Wynn Las Vegas IT Software Engineering Team. This position will report directly to the Lead – Software Architecture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Translates business logic into technical designs and implements services and application integration/interface and service development initiatives using TIBCO Business Works (BW), Service Grid, Business Works Classic (BW) and Enterprise Messaging System (EMS), for new and continuous improvement projects.
  • Assists with development/implementation efforts that bring together members from multiple systems, teams (including outside vendors), and lines of business.
  • Develops new services, interfaces, integrations and monitoring systems that support strategic business and IT initiatives with emphasis on on-time business delivery, performance, availability, scalability, security, maintainability, reliability, ease of configuration.
  • Responsible for maintaining and supporting all TIBCO platform products and custom services and integrations developed for Wynn I Encore Las Vegas.
  • Assists in creation and review of EAI related project and support plans, helping to define project requirements and schedule deliverables, milestones and required tasks.
  • Executes EAI design, coding, and maintenance assignments to a high standard and attention to timeline.
  • Provide status updates to Software Architecture Lead, Business Technology Project Management personnel, modifying schedules or plans as required.
  • Respond to requests for changes and updates design documents from original specifications.
  • Assists in unit and integration testing.
  • Assists peer code review process and join code reviews at various stages in the development process.
  • Follows team process to enter and track implementation information including work items, tasks and issue management in Team Foundation Server.
  • Follows team processes for build releases to Quality Management.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience designing, coding and maintaining integrations and services with TIBCO Designer, BusinessWorks, Enterprise Message System, Hawk and Administrator. Is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years proven experience as an EAI Software Developer using TIBCO products.
  • Adhere to standards and procedures for developer team source change control, reporting and documentation efforts.
  • Adhere to industry and department standards, best practices, product development processes, technical design practices, and quality standards.
  • In-depth experience maintaining and supporting services and integrations using TIBCO products such as BW, BW Classic, BC, Hawk and EMS.
  • Solid understanding of Enterprise Application and EAI Design Patterns.
  • Excellent database process transform/mapping skills (MS SQL, Various APIs, Oracle) and the ability to construct complex SQL queries for integrations and integration testing.
  • Experience with XML including XML schema (and XSD design) and XML Parsing/Processing.
  • Solid understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies.
  • Strong analysis, design and implementation experience with technologies.
  • Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple small to large assignments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills; thus, demonstrating the ability to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems in Enterprise Applications.
  • Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport (persuades others and gains understanding).
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
