As a Chef de Partie your role will include:

Job Responsibilities:

* Engaging all guests to enhance the dining experience.
* The Chef de Parte supports the chefs and is responsible for supervising kitchen staff and working in all stations within the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and plating of all hot and cold foods to outlet standards, guiding and training culinary employees.
* Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standard.
* Maintains solid knowledge of all food products, identify and safely use all kitchen equipment maintain a solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation, prepare all dishes following recipes and yield guides, plate deserts. Complete opening duties, set up work station with required mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies, check production schedule and pars.
* Must be able to breakdown work station and complete closing duties by returning all food items to the proper storage areas, rotate all returned product, wrap, cover, label and date all items being put away, straighten up and organize all storage areas, clean up and wipe down food prep area, reach-in and walk ins.

Job Requirements:

* Candidate must be able to communicate in English, read and follow recipes 2nd language a plus.
* Requires a minimum of 4 years experience, preferable in a high volume, luxury hotel/restaurant.
* Candidate must exhibit impeccable pastry knowledge, accurate knife skills and the ability to lead and motivate staff.
* Culinary/pastry training or degree preferred, but not required.
* Requires the ability to work organized and within a team environment.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present of in the future, for this position at all times.
* Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
