Job Description and Responsibilities:

Wynn Las Vegas understands the unique benefits of custom application development to support business processes. The PeopleSoft Developer is a member of the Wynn Las Vegas IT Development Team and is critical to implementing HR and Finance software improvements for Wynn, enterprise wide. This position reports to the Software Architecture Lead and plays a valuable role in enterprise-wide software implementation efforts for Wynn Resorts.

This person must be highly technical and very hands on and see themselves as a PeopleSoft expert. You will be utilized as a key resource in a tightly formed and focused development team working closely with various stakeholders from the business and I.T. and reporting to the application development manager.

*Be the key technical lead developer providing technical guidance for PeopleSoft resources.

*Take responsibility for performance tuning

*Helps translate business requirements, functional designs & information architectural specification in all the areas of Wynn Resorts including Human Resources, Marketing, Hotel, Gaming, Retail, and Food & Beverage and Financials into technical designs for implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0, Financials 9.0 and Portal 9.0 applications.

*Assists with PeopleSoft coding implementations, integrations, and testing and support of HRMS and *Finance interfaces to other corporate systems that support business strategy & requirements.

*Maintains emphasis on on-time business delivery, performance, availability, scalability, security, maintainability, reliability, ease of configuration and integration.
*Partners with the Application & Database Architecture Leads to implement best of breed solutions that support key business objectives.
*Assists in creation and review of Development Project plans to determine project requirements and schedule Development Team project deliverables, milestones and required tasks.

*Executes coding assignments, tasks and responsibilities with high standards and attention to timeline.
*Assist peer code review process and join code reviews at various stages in the development process.

*Follow team process to enter and track implementation information including work items, tasks and issue management in Team Foundation Server.

*Follow team processes for build releases to Quality Management

Job Requirements:

*Five years’ experience with PeopleSoft Financials application and custom development.

*Five years of PeopleTools, version 8.54.02 or higher is required.

*Five years strong knowledge of the PeopleSoft Toolset: Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, and SQR.

*Strong SQL development skills with experience writing complex SQL routines; must have at least 8 years of SQL experience.

*This position will include working with PeopleSoft Query, Data Mover and File Layout.

*Must have advanced PeopleSoft programming skills including experience in developing custom pages using various PeopleSoft provided tools and assigning security to custom built modules using Menus, Permission Lists, Roles and User Profiles.

*Experience writing multiple and complex reports using PeopleSoft reporting utilities.

*Good understanding of development processes (agile and other latest methodologies), quality and testing best practices – 7 years of demonstrated team experience.
*Strong analysis, design and implementation experience with PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0, Finance 9.0 and Portal 9.0.

*Strong development knowledge of PeopleCode, SQL, Application Engine, Component Interface, *Integration Broker, SQR, nVison and Crystal reporting.

*Development experience in GL, AP, AM, Project Costing in Finance and Base HR, Employee and Manager Self Service.
*Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus.

*Five years of PeopleSoft development or consulting experience.

*Two or more years of experience developing applications using relationship databases; SQL Server preferred.

*Knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools toolset (PeopleSoft 9.x), HTML, JavaScript, and relational databases desired.

*Knowledge and experience preferably in the hospitality business.

*BS degree in Computer Science or related field or a minimum of ten years’ experience.

*10 years’ experience with PeopleSoft Tools and entire stack with a focus on HR and Finance is desired.

*Strong understanding of People Tools

*Experience in use of source code management (Team Foundation Server) or equivalent such as Phire-Soft
