Job Description and Responsibilities:

The Public Relations department is responsible for maintaining the public image of both Wynn and
Encore. Primary focus: Public Relations efforts for Entertainment, including two large‐scale production
shows, nightlife/ daylife venues and filming initiatives. The Manager will work within the Public
Relations Dept. but be heavily embedded in Entertainment, working closely with the General Manager
of Entertainment.

Develop and execute strategic public relations campaigns for Wynn Las Vegas shows and
designated business units based on the regular day‐to‐day contact with the leaders of each
business unit to determine relevant story ideas.

Work in tandem with Nightlife marketing and outside PR representation to determine strategy
and execution of media activities.

Work with the Social Media team to create engaging content for social media channels.

Strong contacts with major television shows and productions, specifically in the LA and NYC
markets.

Source and book national television appearances and performances for Wynn Las Vegas shows.

Plan and conduct public relations and media relations activities designed to create and maintain
a favorable public image for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.

Respond to reporter requests for information and interviews.

Accompany talent to all media and public relations activities both in‐market and out‐of‐market.

Coordinate familiarization trips and resort experiences for visiting media.

Welcome and host VIP visitors to the property; working nights and weekends are required.

Organize press conferences and special events.

Update and assist with the creation of media and general marketing materials (press releases,
media kits, photos, video, web sites, etc.).

Manage the timely distribution of press materials to the media.

Work with marketing department to create, develop and coordinate promotions with
measurable value.

Assist with managing activities and strategy of outside agencies.

Represent the resort and individual business units at community and business events.

Maintain a media activity database.

Collaborate with internal PR department to develop concepts, strategies and tactics for overall
resort initiatives.

All other duties assigned by the Executive Director of Public Relations.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education
and experience.

Knowledge of local, regional and national print and electronic media contacts, reports and
journalists.

Advanced writing ability, strong organizational, excellent spoken and written communication
skills required.

Must have a flexible schedule and be willing and able to work evenings and weekends.
