Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily water testing of the resorts secondary water treatment system
  • Responsible for daily checks of the resorts secondary water system treatment equipment
  • Responsible for recording and maintaining test results and system parameters for the resorts secondary water treatment system
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned by area and Management.
  • Will assist all other trades and crafts with routine and emergency work assignments.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure as well as working well with others.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years journeyman maintenance experience in one or more of the following: commercial pools & spas, closed loop water systems, water features and potable water systems.
  • Must possess a valid State of Nevada Public Water System Operators License D2 and T1 and be able to pass state certification and testing required to obtain a license with a rating of D3, T2 within 6 months of position entry.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 year’s experience maintaining water chemistry through automation, as well as installation, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of filters, chemical pumps, controllers, and all equipment related with water treatment.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a 4 year accredited apprenticeship program; and be fluent in English.  
  • Must be able to read, understand and work from blueprints, drawings and sketches; and be proficient in the safe use of all trade related hand and power tools, safety, and protective equipment.  
  • Must be able to immediately respond to all emergency situations and calls.  
  • Will also assist all trades and crafts with routine and emergency work assignments.
