As a Pastry Chef your role will include:

Job Responsibilities:

* The Pastry Chef is responsible for all aspects of cost control.
* Responsible for completing inventories and food requisitions.
* Manages and trains kitchen staff.
* Supports the Chef de Parties and Cooks if necessary.
* Supervises the production of pastries and desserts for the outlet.
* Ensures food quality according to department standards.
* Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.

Job Requirements:

* Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. 2nd language a plus.
* Requires 5 years experience in a high quality/5 star pastry kitchen, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
* A culinary and/or pastry training degree is preferred, but not required.
* Candidate must have advanced knowledge of pastries and desserts.
* Candidates must have the ability to manage all aspects of a pastry operation.
* Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment.
* Requires a valid Clark County health card.
* Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
